The lake’s shallow, stump-filled waters make it ideal for fishing boats and guided pontoon tours, where you can glide through towering cypress trees, lily pads, and thriving bird habitats.
Wildlife lovers will be especially impressed, as Reelfoot Lake is one of the best places in the region to spot American bald eagle, particularly during the winter months, along with a variety of shorebirds and wading birds.
Nearby attractions include Columbus-Belmont State Park (about a 58-minute drive), Discovery Park of America (34 minutes), and Century Casino Caruthersville (54 minutes), offering a mix of history, entertainment, and family-friendly activities.

My family and I stayed a week for Spring Break and had a great time. The lodge was spacious, beautiful, and extremely clean. The view of the lake and sunsets are amazing. The host was super friendly and very accommodating. Fun for all ages and we will go back!

We stayed here with 5 adults and 8 kids and it was absolutely perfect! Very clean, well kept. The location is awesome, we enjoyed morning bike rides with all of the kids, fishing off the dock and LOTS of yard space to enjoy outdoor activities. Would highly recommend booking a stay, host was incredibly kind and prompt to answer any questions leading up to our stay.
